-the abstract science of number, quantity, and space. Mathematics may be studied in its own right ( pure mathematics ), or as it is applied to other disciplines such as physics and engineering.
Many students says that they don't like MATHEMATICS because it is difficult and it gives stressed to students who took MATHEMATICS because of the numbers and understanding. But some students says that mathematics is a challenging part of a student because they love numbers.
But for my instance , I love to solve math because I love numbers and it gives me a challenge because when I was confused in that situation I want a solution to solve the problem.

According to some of the mathematicians:
If people do not believe that mathematics is simple, it is only because they do not realize how complicated life is. ~John Louis von Neumann
Arithmetic is where the answer is right and everything is nice and you can look out of the window and see the blue sky - or the answer is wrong and you have to start over and try again and see how it comes out this time. ~Carl Sandburg
Mathematics are well and good but nature keeps dragging us around by the nose. ~Albert Einstein
If you think dogs can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket and then giving Fido only two of them. ~Phil Pastoret
"Every minute dies a man, Every minute one is born;" I need hardly point out to you that this calculation would tend to keep the sum total of the world's population in a state of perpetual equipoise, whereas it is a well-known fact that the said sum total is constantly on the increase. I would therefore take the liberty of suggesting that in the next edition of your excellent poem the erroneous calculation to which I refer should be corrected as follows: "Every moment dies a man, And one and a sixteenth is born." I may add that the exact figures are 1.067, but something must, of course, be conceded to the laws of meter ~Charles Babbage, letter to Alfred, Lord Tennyson, about a couplet in his "The Vision of Sin"
